New Auchan stores cannot be opened in Hungary before 2012
Auchan prepares for the opening of four rural units and one in the capital. As the recently appointed director of Auchan Hungary, Dominique Ducoux said, they are discussing on specific sites, where there are budget plans in connection with the project.
However, once the company is unprofitable, new Auchan hypermarket in Hungary can be opened only early next year, may, because the investment costs can only financed by the owner, who also paid the crisis tax, instead of the Hungarian subsidiary. The French group has twelve units currently in Hungary – writes Világgazdaság Online.
