KSH: the cost of schooling per child was over 15 thousand HUF last year
The cost of schooling was 15,300 forints per child last year, according to a summary of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) released on Thursday.
Based on the figures of August and September 2016, the most significant item of school-based education expenditure were textbooks and notes in the amount of 11,303 HUF.
At the beginning of the school year, the second most significant expenditures were the amount spent on clothes and shoes – an average of 9050 HUF. (MTI)
