KSH: earnings increased by over 5 percent in September
The average gross earnings increased by 5.1 percent in the national economy in September. Without calculating the wages of the public workers, the growth was 5.3 percent compared to the previous year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday.
The gross and net earnings equally increased in a year over year comparision, as tax changes did not influence their evolution.
Since the consumer prices in September were 0.4 percent lower than a year before, real wages have risen even higher levels by 5.5 and 5.7 percent. (MTI)
