Retail sales continued to pick up
According to raw data, retail sales in November last year were 6.8 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year. Calendar effect adjusted the growth was 7.3 percent, after the 6.2 percent of the last month – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
Grocery and food retail sales increased by 4.5 percent, within which grocery retail sales, which account for 76 percent of the food retail business, increased by 4.6 percent, after an equally strong 3.1 percent growth of the previous two months. (MTI)
