KSH : the foreign trade surplus continued to increase in July
In July, the exports calculated in euros increased by 8.4 percent, while imports increased by 7.9 percent in euros. The export surplus was 498 million euros, 66 million HUF more than in the same month of last year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) published on Monday.
The annual growth rate of both the exports and imports accelerated significantly from the 6.0, and 5.2 percent of the previous month, despite the fact that last year's base also increased.
In July this year, the value of exports was 7.254 billion euros (2244 billion HUF), while the value of imports was 6.757 billion euros (2090 billion HUF). The trade balance surplus in the seventh month of the year was 498 million euros (154 billion HUF). (MTI)
