KSH: retail sales increased on an annual basis
In May, the volume of retail trade turnover was 5.8 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year, according to both raw and calendar-adjusted data, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
Seasonal and calendar-adjusted traffic increased 0.1 percent compared to the previous month.
Compared to May 2019, the pre-pandemic period saw a 3.4 percent increase in retail sales in May this year, based on calendar-adjusted data. (MTI)
