KSH: GDP grew by 17.9 percent year-on-year in the second quarter
In the second quarter, Hungary’s gross domestic product (GDP) was 17.9 percent higher than a year before, according to raw data, and 17.7 percent higher, according to seasonally and calendar-adjusted and balanced data, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Tuesday.
Compared to the previous quarter, the performance of the economy grew by 2.7 percent according to seasonally and calendar-adjusted and balanced data.
Analysts expected an increase of 17.2 percent from a year earlier and 2.0 percent from the previous quarter. (MTI)
