KSH: retail sales in July increased more than projected
The Central Statistical Office improved the July retail sales growth from previously projected 2.3 percent to 2.5 percent in its second estimate published on Wednesday.
The raw and calendar-adjusted datas show the same increase, compared to a year earlier.
In contrast to the first estimate published on 3 September, the sales of non-food product has improved from 2.7 percent to 3.3 percent, the fuel sales remain 3.4 percent higher than a year earlier, while the food demand increased by only 1.5 percent instead of the previosuly projected 1.6 percent.
