KSH: GDP decreased by 5.1 percent in 2020
Hungary’s gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 1.1 percent in the fourth quarter of last year, compared to the previous quarter and decreased by 3.7 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year.
In 2020, the volume of GDP was 5.1 percent lower than in the previous year, when it grew by 4.6 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday based on its first estimate.
According to seasonally and calendar-adjusted and balanced data, the economy’s performance declined 4.3 percent year-on-year in the fourth quarter. (MTI)
