Nine thousand packs of smuggled cigarettes worth more than 12 million forints were found in an abandoned car by the financiers of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) at the Hungarian-Ukrainian green border – the press officer of the authority of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Tax and Customs Directorate told MTI on Thursday.
Magyar Norbert said that the finance guards were patrolling the Tisza floodplain and found a hidden car behind the trees, which was parked two or three kilometers away from the main road even leaving the ignition key in the car. (MTI)
