Challenges and answers in the dairy market
A congress was held by the Dairy Products Association under this title on the 7th December. The main topic was market prospects for domestic dairy products and the related marketing tasks. It was pointed out that agricultural producers receive the smallest part of the revenues from these products. The market prospects of dairy products, especially those of cheese were also reviewed. It was argued that Hungarian producers could become far more successful than they are at the moment. The need for a more diversified marketing strategy in order to boost the milk consumption of younger age groups was emphasised.
