K&H: small businesses are becoming more and more optimistic
Despite the pandemic, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are increasingly optimistic about the next year, K&H told MTI on Monday, citing its first-quarter research.
According to the survey, the SME Confidence Index rose by 5 points to 14 points by early 2021, approaching the 17-point all-time high, most recently measured in 2019.
K&H explained the improvement by the fact that entrepreneurs tend to view economic policy favorably and expect more EU funding. 42 percent of government measures are thought to be business-friendly, and only 17 percent of those who think all this is inadequate or not enough. (MTI)
