The economic sentiment in the euro area fell to a two-year low in December
With twelve months of continuous decline, the European Commission’s Economic and Financial Directorate, DG EcFin Euro Zone Economic Sentiment Index (ESI) reached a two-year low in December. Hungary has the highest ESI indicator in the European Union.
According to the preliminary data from DG EcFin (Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs), the Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) declined by 2.2 points to 107.3 points in the euro area in December and declined by 2.0 points to 107.6 points in December in the European Union. (MTI)
