Two wineries were closed for thirty days
The Government Office for the Food Chain Safety and Animal Health Board of Bács-Kiskun County closed the Borletin Borház Kft. of Soltvadkert and the Bolemányi-Ker Bt. of Kiskőrös for thirty days, due to serious misconducts – told the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) to MTI on Monday.
According to the communication of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM); late last year, it was detectead that the Borletin Borház Kft. sold 10 639 thousand hectoliters (over one million liters) Italian wines to several wineries. The company did not report the import of the wine and it did not require the certificate of origin.
The Bolemányi Ker Bt. purchased 10 285 thousand hectoliters of wine from the Borletin Borház Kft., did not require the certificate of origin, and the purchased items were not introduced into the cellar book, so could not accounted with them – reports MTI.
