KDNP: marketing conditions of foodstuffs may be tightened
According to the Christian Democratic Party (KDNP), the National Assembly can acept the bill on the rules of food marketing with consensus.
Tarnai Richárd, Member of Parliament highlighted at a press conference on Wednesday, that in the future the poor quality products, their producers and distributors will also bear the responsibility. The minimum fine would be increased by 25 percent, from 15 thousand to 20 thousand HUF, while the upper limit would increase from 2 billion to 5 billion HUF.
