German Competition Authority fined due to cartelling
A total of 38 million euros fine was imposed by the German Competition Authority to the German subsidiaries of three big international food producers, because of price cartelling.
According to the investigation; Kraft Foods Deutschland, the UNILEVER Deutschland and Dr. Oetker have exchanged informations over planned price increases and over negotiations with large retail networks for years. According to the German Competition Authority such information exchange is impermissible – reports MTI.
