Dunapack’s paper and packaging industrial investment in Dunavarsány will be completed next year
With an investment worth nearly 20 billion HUF, Dunapack Packaging builds one of the most modern packaging production plants in Europe near Dunavarsány. The new plant will be one of the most advanced demonstration plants in the circular economy because production will be based on nearly 90 percent recycled paper, the company told MTI on Wednesday.
According to the schedule, production will start at the end of 2022 at the plant now under construction. It will create more than 100 new jobs, but with the planned improvements, that number will grow even more. The greenfield investment in the 12-hectare area, with a 32,000-square-meter building, has been designed with modularity in mind, with a view to further capacity expansion. (MTI)
