The Conference Board’s U.S. Macroeconomic Composite Index has improved
The economic outlook in the United States improved somewhat in February, according to a composite index calculated by the Conference Board’s Institute for U.S. Economic Research to summarize key macroeconomic indicators. However, the survey did not yet take into account the economic risks of the war in Ukraine.
The Leading Economic Indicator (LEI) rose 0.3 percent from the previous month, in line with market expectations, the Conference Board’s economic research institute in Washington said on Friday. (MTI)
