ITM: dealers likely to get into trouble less with user guides than with a warranty ticket
Since the summer, a legal requirement has been the legal expectation of customers to receive instructions for use and handling in Hungarian for products sold in Hungary.
Following the entry into force of the provision in July, the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) has verified that businesses are now meeting their broader obligations, the ministry said.
Experience from the Consumer Survey has shown that traders have been able to adapt to the change more easily than they have been able to do under the renewed warranty rules. (MTI)
