ITM: growth in household income is the driving force of retail trade
The increase in retail turnover is due to the growth in household income, which is expected to continue in the coming months – Pomázi Gyula, the Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) told M1 news channel.
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday that retail sales increased even higher than previously reported. According to the second estimate, sales at unchanged prices rose by 6.8 percent in June, with a calendar effect adjusted by 6.4 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year. (MTI)
