IT security expert: online shopping risks of can be significantly reduced
An expert from Sicontact Kft., which deals with the security of online payments, drew attention to fraudsters threatening the security of online shopping, which jumps during the Christmas period, and their shared suggestions for significantly increasing the security of online payments.
He warned that without due care, personal information could fall into the hands of cybercriminals and added that some security solutions could significantly reduce the risk of this.
One of the most important things is to use a reliable Internet connection when shopping, because publicly available Wi-Fi hotspots do not provide an adequate level of security for payment transactions. (MTI)
