The Food Rescue Center is collecting donations again
After the Advent and Easter food donation campaigns, Élélmiszermentő Központ Nonprofit Kft. organizes another charity campaign on the occasion of the start of school in September.
Food waste is a growing global problem around the world, while food is a precious resource. The Government of Hungary has set the goal of reducing the amount of household food waste by 2030. In order to achieve this goal, the Hungarian Government has taken several measures at the national level in the course of conscious planning in recent years. The aim of the measures is to save as much food as possible and deliver it to those in need. The Food Rescue Center also started its operation with this task.
Together with the Ministry of Agriculture, this is the third campaign, in the framework of which the Food Rescue Center accepts offers from Hungarian companies until September 9. You can make an offer at the e-mail address adomany@emkp.hu or at the phone number +36 30 728 6220, where the company’s employees will answer questions about the offers.
On the occasion of the start of school, the organizing Food Rescue Center wants to make it easier for single-parent children to start school and the period that follows.
