This is how we consciously prepare for Easter!
Eggs, ham, corn salad and an endless list of cakes: every year Easter is preceded by several days of preparation, and then after the holidays some of the food ends up in the trash can? Contrary to popular belief, conscious preparation is not the same as giving up delicious snacks or erasing traditions. Moreover, with a little attention, we can spend more time with our loved ones, we can find new joint activities, and we can also save money. Rama has now collected some practical ideas and mouth-watering Easter recipes for this purpose.
In the fast-paced world, it is certainly worth planning the time spent together consciously, so we can prevent our Easter memories from only consisting of frantic cleaning and cooking. Let’s try to start preparing in time, so we can even have time for creative joint games, such as an exciting egg hunt, which can later become a family tradition.
It is also worth involving the whole family in the preparation. While baking and cooking, children can learn many things in an exciting, playful way: they can practice spinning on the cake, they can build an exciting cake world with the cookie cutters. Baking and cooking together also provides a great opportunity for children to learn about the various uses of vegetables and fruits, so they can, for example, discover how and why the grated carrot ended up in the cake.
