This year, Americans spent more on Black Friday
Retail sales on Friday increased slightly, by half a percent in the United States, which is traditionally one of the busiest day of the Christmas shopping period.
Retail sales showed a minimal increase on the "Black Friday", which is traditionally the important first day of the Christmas shopping season in the United States of America (the first day after Thanksgiving). This is the day, when the great discounts begins.
According to ShopperTrak’s survey; on Friday customers spent a total of 10.7 billion USD, which is a 0.5 percent increase compared to the same period of last year – reports portfolio.hu.
