Farmers can provide subsidized agricultural insurance for more than 10 billion HUF this year
Farmers are expected to make subsidized agricultural insurance for more than 10 billion HUF this year, after which they may receive a premium of 5 billion HUF in 2019. The applications for premium support is to be submitted by 15 May – the Hungarian Association of Independent Insurance Brokers (FBAMSZ) told in its communication sent to MTI.
It was announced that the reimbursement of the premium is subject to the farmers having to indicate separately in the single premium application by 11 June at the latest that they intend to use the aid.
According to Póczik András, expert of the FBAMSZ, the application should be submitted by May 15, after which a penalty of 1 percent of the subsidy amount per working day should be calculated. (MTI)
