Snowfall and icy roads are threatening the retail of the UK
It might be, that the extraordinary snow will make the Christmas shopping in Western Europe impossible. In Britain for example, severe disruptions occurred in the transportation of goods, so the shelves are empty in several stores.
In Great Britain, temperatures fell to minus twenty degrees in some places, last week and blizzards were ravaging for two days. The snow on the roads did not even melted, but frozen, because of the great cold. On the roads, slipped trucks causing obstructions and great delays occurred in public transportation – reports penzcentrum.hu.
