The Balaton Association’s request was rejected
Varga Mihály Minister for Economic Affairs rejected the Balaton Association's request that all the shops need to be open during the summer season. The ministry will decide in the autumn whether to adapt the rules on the Sunday store closure.
In the small shops that are open on Sundays fresh meat goods cannot be purchased, and more and more customers are complaining that these stores are carrying out price increases applied only on the last day of the week. (hvg.hu, MTI, Népszava)
