HENT: fake perfumes can be dangerous
Fake perfumes can be dangerous. They can cause serious allergic reactions and infectious diseases – the National Anti-Counterfeit Agency (HENT) warned in its statement sent to MTI on Tuesday.
According to HENT, false perfumes have caused approximately 800 million HUF damages in Hungary in the last three years.
According to a report by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), 52 percent of fake perfume and cosmetic products seized in the EU came from Turkey and amounted to 26.1 million euros in 2013, according to the Communication. (MTI)
