Hungarian DIY chain to keep the competitiveness on the domestic market
The Hungarian DIY retailers are trying to compete against the chain of stores with common image and procurement.
So far, 16 retailers are grouped under the Ezermester (Handyman) name plate, but the organizing company, hopes to grow the network for 75 membered, until the end of the year.
According to the company; in Hungary today, the presence of multinational supermarket chains, DIY – OBI, Bauhaus, Baumax, Praktiker owns the 55 percent of the market and makes an estimated 165-170 billion turnover annually. The smaller companies have currently 45 percent market share – reports Népszabadság Online.
