You do not have to pay advertising tax next year either
In view of the current economic situation, the Hungarian Advertising Association, on behalf of the advertising and media industry, held negotiations with the government in the summer and early autumn, requesting an extension of the suspension of the advertising tax until January 1, 2023.
As a result of the Advertising Association’s proposal, the extension of the suspension period of the tax affecting the advertising profession was included in the proposal for amendments to the tax package submitted by the Minister of Finance to the Parliament in October, which was voted by the Parliament this week and became legally binding upon publication in the Hungarian Gazette: the rate of the advertising tax will remain until December 31, 2023 0% of the tax base.
