Thirty thousand packets of cigarettes were seized by the NAV
Almost 200 kilograms of tobacco and nearly 31 thousand packs of cigarettes without Hungarian tax stamps in an amount of 38 million HUF was seized by the National Tax and Customs Office (NAV) in Budapest.
The tax authority’s finance guards checked a garage and found 184 kilograms of cut tobacco and almost 31 thousand packs cigarettes without Hungarian excise stamps. The tenant of the garage could not verify the origin of the cigarettes and the tobacco – the NAV told MTI on Friday. (MTI)
