The Amazon reduces food prices by one-third
The Amazon reduced food prices by 30-40 percent after officially took over the management of the Whole Foods Market food chain.
Whole Foods’s 13.7 billion USD acquisition has seriously stirred up the 800 billion USD US market, and Bloomberg suggests that Amazon is planning to surpass its competitors. The aggressive price reduction is also interesting because Whole Foods has been on the market with substantially more expensive goods so far. (Stubnya Bence, index)
