Videoton passes the responsibility
Videoton's leadership expressed its astonishment, about the explanation of the MKEH, after the Hungarian Trade Licensing Office (MKEH) withdrew the license of the online cash registers, distributed by the Alt Cash and Japan Cash companies, because the fiscal control unit of the machines contained built-in hidden features, where the cash registers could have been manipulated. The AEE was produced by the Székesfehérvár-based company, but they believe they did not make a mistake.
The Videoton in its communication emphasized, that they undertook the production of the AEE, for the request of a “domestic company”. About the final product, ie the inner workings of the cash register or about the testing, they have had no informations. According to the Videoton, the specialists of the company developing the product stood for the cooperation with a professional and fair approach.
