New gastronomy award
The Ethics Committee of the Industrial Chamber of Hungarian Caterers had a meeting on 9th July 2013, where they decided to to found the Károly Gundel Gastronomy Award. The professional award is issued annually in 3 categories. Criteria for the award are being developed.
The extended meeting was attended by János Gundel, the Associate Professor of BGF's Commerce, Catering and Tourism Faculty and Imre Kiss, the director of the Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism and the members of the committee.
