Government pays attention to what retailers are saying
On Europe’s Day in Commerce Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga told: retail is one of the most important sectors of the economy and it also plays a vital role in our everyday life. He added that the government needs to listen to what retailers are saying. Retail sales have been on the rise for more than three years now and there are 3,000 unfilled positions in the sector, despite the fact that since 2010 the number of those working in retail has increased by 5.9 percent.
