Good start of the year in retail trade
In January 2018 like-for-like retail volume sales augmented by 7.5 percent; adjusted for calendar effects, the sales growth was the same – reported the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Food and food-type retail sales increased by 4.4 percent and non-food sales grew by 11.6 percent, while motor fuel volume sales rose by 8.1 percent. In 2017 like-for-like volume sales – adjusted for calendar effects – surpassed the previous year’s level by 4.8 percent. //
