Choking mouse in the sugar dollop
The inspectors of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) found expired and unlabeled materials and products in a fondant manufacturing plant in Örkény, Pest County. During the investigation a mouse was choking in the sugar dollop – the Nébih informed MTI on Tuesday.
According to the communication, the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) and the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV), a joint control was held in Örkény at a fondant manufacturing plant in mid-October.
The products were produced with dirty, rusty machines and equipments, while insects – flies, bees – and rodents were also found. The plant can expect high fines. (MTI)
