FruitVeB: despite the capricious weather the fruit and vegetable sector may close an average year
The capricious weather caused far smaller than estimated damages to the fruit and vegetable producers.
The amount of vegetables will be more than last year’s, while an average quantity of fruits can be expected this year. The fruit and vegetable sector’s performance is expected to be around 2.6 million tons – Ledó Ferenc president of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organization (FruitVeB) told MTI.
