1. FOODATECH simultaneous with the II. IFEFOOD Budapest

In order to exploit the synergies existing between the two exhibitions, IFE FOODAPEST and the first international food technology and packaging trade fair will be held at the same time between 18-20 November 2008.

 By organising the biannual FOODATECH
and the annual IFE FOODAPEST, Hungexpo and Montgomery have created
the most significant and prestigious joint trade fair in the East
Central European region, in the very hub of the trade. 

The FOODATECH
will take part in the refurbished HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Center's
completely new Hall G. With the construction of Pavilion G,
the exhibition area of the Budapest Fair Centre has been increased by
10,000 sq. meters, while owing to the architectural innovations and
design, the range of events that may be accommodated has been greatly
enriched.
The organisation of FOODATECH trade fair this year is
especially timely now as The European Agriculture and Regional
Development Fund is offering 30-50% support on purchases of food
industry machines. The support is expected to be available in the
next couple of years as well. This year a separate catalogue will be
compiled for the specific purpose of listing supported machinery in
order to help applicants, traders, manufacturers, and to facilitate
the evaluation procedure.
