FM: the government will help the tobacco growers
The government is committed towards the tobacco producers and after the termination of the EU restructuring aid, if in a modest extent, too, but helps the domestic prodeucers from domestic sources – Szentirmay Zoltán, head of department of current issues of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM), explained at a forum in Nyíregyháza on Tuesday.
The head of department of the ministry has asked the about five hundred tobacco producers to “do their job and prepare for the launch of the production year.” He added that the development of the new payment scheme is still ongoing.
