FEOSZ: consumers are getting more and more vulnerable

According to the National Federation of Consumer Protecting Associations (FEOSZ), at the creating of the legislations civil consumer protection proposals were not really taken into account.

The consumer's vulnerability against the firms is increasing – summed Baranovszky György, executive chairman of the National Federation of Consumer Protecting Associations (FEOSZ) this year's experiences. If the proposals had taken to account during the law-making procedure, it would be easier for the consumers.
So, the trading companies should only observ to correct the product errors within 15 days. According to Baranovszky; companies knowingly abused with this, so they do not maintain a mechanic workshop, faulty products are sent abroad, so the consumer should wait 3-4 months for the repair – reports Népszabadság Online.
