The Nébih suspended the operation of a bakery in Budapest
Because of serious technical and hygienic deficiencies, the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) suspended the operation of the Budapest-based Berliner Kft. bakery and confectionery production plant with immediate effect – Nébih told MTI.
According to the information provided by the authorities, a total of 14 items, over 580 kilograms of food products (raw materials, semi-finished and finished products) were withdrawn from the market during the on-site inspection due to their expiration date and non-traceability as well as technical and hygiene deficiencies in the factory. In addition, Nébih also ordered the recall of finished products from circulation. (MTI)
