Fazekas: demand for pork increased
The traffic data and the customer interest has confirmed that the 27 to 5 percent VAT reduction on pig carcase meat was a right decision – the Minister of Agriculture announced on Tuesday at a press conference held in a Coop store in Vecsés.
Fazekas Sándor said that thanks to the VAT reduction, the price of a range of products fell below 1000 HUF. He stressed that the government will also want to help families with livelihood, to increase demand, to promote domestic pig breeding and to whiten the pork market. (MTI)
