FAO: higher food prices to come in the forthcoming years
Consumers can expect globally higher food prices in the next ten years.
The UN reports that due to the increase of the population and higher incomes demand will grow in the developing countries.
'The cost of vegetable and animal agricultural products is projected to grow as a result of lower production growth and higher demand”- shows the report of UN Food Organization (FAO) and OECD, which was published in Beijing.
It is projected that the price of meat and fish products as well as biofuels will increase the most. (Világgazdaság Online)
