Hungarian GDP grew by 6.1 percent on an annual basis
In the third quarter, Hungary’s gross domestic product (GDP) was 6.1 percent higher than a year earlier, according to raw and seasonally and calendar-adjusted data, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on its first estimate on Tuesday.
Compared to the previous quarter, the economy’s performance grew by 0.7 percent, according to seasonally and calendar-adjusted and balanced data.
Analysts expected a 7.1 percent increase from a year earlier and a 1.1 percent increase from the previous quarter.
GDP was 1.5 percent higher than in the third quarter of 2019, according to raw data. (MTI)
