Every month, disadvantaged young children are given food packages in three counties
Disadvantaged children under age 3 receive monthly food packages in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, Hajdú-Bihar és Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén counties with the support of a European Union-funded program – the Minister of State of the Ministry of Human Resources said on Tuesday at a press conference in Vásárosnamény.
Czibere Károly, at the first distribution of the 1 billion HUF grant program, said that the sample program lasts until the end of the year in three counties and include about 12 thousand children under the age of three who receive a regular child protection benefit and do not attend a nursery.
