End of recession in Europe's largest economy
According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Berlin; after a historic drop of one year, in the second quarter of the year, the shrinking of the German economy has been stopped.
According to an interior analysis of the Ministry of Economic Affairs the economic growth in the second quarter was zero, which ended the most serious economic downturn, since the post-World War II, German history.
In the first quarter, the German economy has lost 3.8 percent, compared to last year's last quarter, and its performance was 6.9 percent worse than a year before. In the middle of the second quarter in May, however, industrial production has been increased on the maximum level in 16 years monthly rate comparision. This 3.7 percent increase in performance was far beyond analyst expectations of only 0.5 percent – reports ProfitLine.hu.
