The grilling season is off to a strong start at Lidl
Lidl Hungary is preparing for this year’s grilling season with more than 60 types and flavors of fresh meat and meat products. The popularity of the products is demonstrated by the fact that the discount chain sold nearly 6 billion forints worth of the product category in the 2024 season. This year, special products that are exclusively available at Lidl on the Hungarian market will also be on the shelves.
Lidl Hungary is paying special attention to the grilling season this time too, thanks to which customers will be able to find an extremely rich selection in the stores: more than 60 different grilling products will be available, and in addition to marinated meats – chicken, pork, beef – the selection will also include meat products, sausages, hamburger meat, grill hot dogs and roulades, as well as seafood, such as garlic and chili shrimp.
Grilling is popular
The company’s 2024 data clearly shows the consumer interest in grilling: during the grilling season, which runs from the end of April to the beginning of September, the supermarket chain sold nearly 6 billion forints worth of grilling products in Hungary.
