Successful year for the Hungarian agriculture
The Hungarian agriculture closed its most successful year since the EU accession – said Fazekas Sándor, Rural Development Minister.
The sector’s performance increased by an about 20 percent in 2011, compared to the previous year, the sector's output amounted to 2,000 billion forints.
According to preliminary datas, exports exceeded 6 billion, imports were around 4 to 4.5 billion euros. The Ministry’s this year budgets will be 709 billion forints. Of this amount, about 626 billion HUF will go on agricultural subsidies, one-fifth of it is domestic source – writes Világgazdaság Online, after MTI.
