Unilever is interested in OTP's Podravka shares
The Unilever multinational food company is interested in the 10.6 percent share of Podravka, which is now owned by the Hungarian OTP Bank – wrote the Business.hr, Croatian daily newspaper, referring on anonymous sources, who are familiar with the case.
The OTP gained the package of shares in the scope of a credit facility, after Podravka did not lived with its right to purchase. In the autumn of 2010 the Világgazdaság has reported that Podravka is unable to repay the 38 million euros loan received from OTP. The 10.6 percent share package was the cover of this transaction – reports [origo].
